Organic cotton, grown and hand spun into thread in central India. The indigo threads are naturally dyed in southern India. The fabric is meticulously woven by master weavers in Rajasthan. The patterns and motifs are traditional, originally woven with wool.

Each piece of hand woven fabric has its own life and nature. The drape and texture is unique to the process. Threads come alive when they are woven together by hand. The tradition of hand weaving is ancient, and the complex process continues to bring work to rural artisans throughout the world.

Along with the lively nature of hand woven cloth comes the occasional slub, or irregular thread. These bring more texture and depth to the fabric, and are a reminder that each thread was put in place by hand.

Care: hand or machine wash delicate, cold water, with like colors. Use delicate detergent. Line dry. Warm iron. Fabric is pre-washed. Colors may run, so take care in washing the first few times.
